Want to know how to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks?

The formula to successful weight loss doesn't have to be all that difficult really.

The hardest part is making the decision, which you've clearly already done.  Next comes a commitment so that you CAN achieve this amount of weight loss.  With these 2 ingredients set in place you are definitely a lot further to becoming a healthier, fit person than you were yesterday.

So where to begin exactly?

I like to say the FRIDGE.  Inside this "cooling machine" you will find that a lot of what you purchase at the grocery store is not fit for you to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks.  In fact, a lot of Nutritionists start out with their client's in the kitchen because this is the source of feeding the weight gain.

Out of sight out of mind, right?  This is why you need to purge and throw away any fattening, processed foods so that they just aren't available to you.

Does this mean no more yummy foods?

No WAY!

In fact, there are a lot of diet plans that are tailored for your tastes.  Just because you throw out the potato chips and cookies doesn't mean you have to sacrifice the salty and sweet.  The main thing you need to find for your diet is a diet plan that will work for you in order to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks.

Week 1 of How to Lose 10 lbs in 2 Weeks:

#1) Diet:

  • purge the kitchen, like I said.
  • consider a healthy cleanse to detoxify
  • replace white flour with whole grains
  • increase your fresh fruits and veggies
  • up the water intake
  • limit your alcohol consumption

#2) Exercise

  • start off being realistic, i.e. go for a long walk
  • be sure to get your heart rate up
  • try to do 30-50 push-ups a day
  • stretch (this also helps elongate your muscles)
  • look into joining a gym ( think FREE trials!)

Week 2 of How to Lose 10 lbs in 2 Weeks:

#1) Diet:

  • be honest with your food intake
  • consider a diet journal to keep track of your caloric intake
  • cut down on some of your carbs (i.e. pastas and breads make you bloat)
  • fill up on veggies and get your EFAs from nuts like almonds
  • try to cut out alcohol - this saves a TON of calories
  • cook with some new recipes that help make eating exciting
  • visit a health food store for ideas

#2) Exercise:

  • work out 5-6 days a week, anything counts as long as you feel the burn
  • SWEAT!
  • stretch before and after
  • try a new class, yoga or a strength & stretch, and invite a friend along
  • keep up with the daily push-ups, aim for 50 push-ups a day plus
