I have had this somewhat over a year. we frequency use it for some-more than a clock. we have had an aged iphone left pluged into it for about 9 months to entrance a song on it. we went to use it and detected a a ipod/iphone wharf is breaking. we had to pull brazen on a iphone to get a ihome to commend it. It seems a weight of a iphone is violation a wharf connection.

For now we have helped repair a problem by regulating sugru (moldable silicone clay) to emanate a support that pushed a iphone forward. Could be finished with anything though, such as a clod of steep tape, etc. I'll have to see how prolonged this "fix" lasts. An online hunt suggested a blog with a DIY educational on how to sequence and reinstate a wharf connection.

Remote is also problematic. The remote works to energy on and off and change radio stations, though we can no longer get it to change anything else, such as volume or skip lane on bond iphone.
