Product Description

"Ted Bundy is a many darkly fascinating, and widely analyzed, sequence torpedo of a past century, presumably ever. No sex criminal, from Jack a Ripper to Zodiac to a Green River Killer, casts scarcely so horrible a spell on a renouned mind as does Bundy. Now, a dual group who know Bundy’s rapist inlet best – Dr. Robert D. (Bob) Keppel and author Stephen G. Michaud – have teamed to write a decisive account of Bundy’s bloody career, as good as a inside story of how Keppel tracked a fugitive torpedo for 15 years, from his initial days as a rookie Seattle carnage questioner to a array of moving encounters within a Florida State Prison where Bundy, in a cursed try during forestalling his execution, finally gave adult some of his Terrible Secrets.
The story of Keppel’s prolonged onslaught to brand a handsome, clear onetime law student, and confront him with his crimes, is extravagantly illustrated with photos, drawings and papers from a investigator’s personal file. The book’s dozens of cinema embody a map of Bundy’s Issaquah, Washington, bank physique dump that Ted drew for Keppel during a prison. Also shown for a initial time are handwritten records from Bundy’s inquisitive file.
Interspersed with a content are countless video clips, and audio files of Bundy from a hours he spent articulate with Keppel during a prison, bathing a investigator to take his confessions when a time came, and pity with Keppel his deepest, weird reflections on sequence murder as a approach of life — even claiming during several points that he and his hermit murderers are victims, too, of a absolute urges that figure their murdering careers. Above all, Bundy regularly told Keppel, a sequence torpedo contingency conceal his “terrible secrets,” a pale details of his trouble-maker crimes, lest they arise up, overcome and destroy him.
The authors also pull from Keppel’s endless mail association with Bundy.
The outcome is a riveting, close-up mural of a “diabolical genius,” as a sovereign decider described Bundy, nude of misconceptions and misinformation and suggested — in his possess difference — for a archly-sly, murder-obsessed predator he became. There’s never been a book utterly like Terrible Secrets.

5Audio is chilling

By Michael thomas

I've examination Keppel and examination Michaud's other books. we had to have this when it came out. The video and audio of Ted's voice from his jail interviews with
Keppel are scary and compelling. Great photos we haven't seen before. Jerry Thompson video articulate about 'Ted's taunt to Thompson was value a cost alone. I'd
recommend Terrible Secrets to anyone meddlesome in how sequence killers really
think, including Bundy buffs.

3Disappointing!

By Shelley

In promotion this book, they used a word "...to write a decisive account of Bundy's bloody career." It was zero of a kind and unequivocally disappointing. It was a rehash of formerly published information. Michaud or Keppel are able of a lot improved than this! Previous works by both are exceptional...I was awaiting so most more.

The chronicle we purchased was directly by a publishers and nothing of a audio/video links worked. Another disappointment.

3Expected some-more from these dual authors

By Alina

I purchased this book on a drift that flattering most anything created by possibly Michaud or Keppell is value reading. Both of these people have singular discernment and believe with Ted Bundy and both have formerly created intensely intelligent and suspicion inspiring books on him. Unfortunately this is not one of them. we was anticipating that, finally, with a thoroughfare of years these authors would open adult a bit some-more about their believe of articulate to Bundy though no, this book is only a rehash of element that can be straightforwardly found elsewhere. If we wish to examination Michaud or Keppell during their best afterwards try The Riverman or The Only Living Witness: The True Story of Serial Sex Killer Ted Bundy or Ted Bundy: Conversations With a Killer : The Death Row Interviews. we found this book to be a unequivocally regular diagnosis of a material. we wish that eventually they unequivocally will write a book that does probity to their singular believe of Bundy.
