Even yet we am not a story buff, we find that reading Gould's comment of Theodore Roosevelt is easier than celebration water--in vast gulps! It all flows so simply and all is so clear, nonetheless there is a good volume of information. A constrained examination and a shining achievement!

Short and readable, abounding in scope!

A smashing book, brief and readable, though abounding in scope; light in a hand, handsomely printed and bound. we find so most in it, story we never learned, or hooks for pieces we do know though never accepted in context. The shadows of Gould's files are staggering, so there is special talent here, in a practice of reserve to furnish this compress gem.
TR is ideal reading for tyrannise transport in a Northwest, given the bequest of tyrannise nobleman hustling and land scandals, that TR was so resolutely peaceful to confront. Gould reminds us of TR's gutsy appointment of Gifford Pinchot to set process for stewardship of inhabitant forests, heading to a send of inhabitant timberland government into Dept. of Agriculture (leaving a really peculiar multiplication of shortcoming for timberland government between BLM and Interior. Sadly, those idle, though magnificent, sovereign timberland lands are bankrupting farming Oregon counties today.)
